Shabbat Services

Shabbat Services

Shabbat services are held Friday evenings at 6:45 PM and Saturday mornings at 9:30 AM in the Sanctuary. Kiddush lunch follows Saturday morning services. What better way to schmooze and catch up with friends!  On some Saturdays after kiddush lunch, the Rabbi or Rabbinic intern will lead an adult learning session. On Friday nights and Saturday mornings, as well as our Sunday morning minyans, names of those having a yahrzeit are read, giving loved ones a chance to say Kaddish.
On Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM, congregants wishing to worship are invited to join us for our Sunday morning minyan. Stay after services for  breakfast and  camaraderie with the  “Sunday Morning Minyannaires."

Musical Shabbat: Friday Night Live (FNL)

Once a month, we are joined by Naomi Less or Matt Turk, (famous musicans in the Jewish world) who lead us in a musical shabbat. Grab a shaker, tambourine and use your voice to welcome in Shabbat in a spirited and lively setting. Often after FNL, we host a Shabbat dinner or Oneg.

Giving to Temple Beth Israel

Giving to Temple Beth Israel

Giving tzedakah (making donations) to Temple Beth Israel enables our community to come together to pray, celebrate, socialize, and learn. In addition, your tzedakah to Temple Beth Israel provides teachers for our children’s Jewish education, supports adult programs, assists our holy work of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), organizes members to visit the sick and comfort mourners, and much more.
